Touchstone is an Educational Improvement Tax Credit approved organization through the PA Department of Community and Economic Development. Our arts-in-education programs, Young Playwrights’ Lab and Building Bridges, are eligible under Article XVII-F of the Tax Reform Code of 1971, 72 P.S. Section 8701-F, et seq., such that tax credits may be awarded to businesses that make contributions. A business may receive a tax credit equal to 75% of its contribution to an Educational Improvement Tax Credit Organization, up to a maximum of $300,000 per taxable year. The tax credit may be increased to 90% of the contribution made, up to a maximum of $300,000 per taxable year, if the business agrees to provide the same amount of contribution to the organization for two consecutive years.
