AN IMAGINED AMERICA
Created by MFA Candidate Adam Ercolani

A LIVING MUSEUM BRINGING HISTORY TO LIFE THROUGH A RE-IMAGINATION OF WHAT AMERICA IS, WAS, AND CAN/MAY BE.

A drag show, a history lesson, and a visual art exhibit, all on the same ticket. Audiences and actors alike will be left asking themselves what exactly America is – and what they want America to be.

Check out our digital program HERE.

Venue:
The Fine Art Galleries at the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center
21 North 7th Street
Allentown, PA 18101
(Allentown Arts Walk)

* The Arts Walk is in the center of 7th and 6th streets and Linden and Hamilton streets. There is some street parking on 7th Street, by the PPL Center. We also recommend parking at an Allentown Parking Authority garage – 603 W. Linden Street (entrance on 6th; then, walk south on Linden St. for about a block, then turn right at the Market sign, you’ll see the Arts Walk ahead a half a block) or 704 W. Linden (exit the garage at the southeast street level exit and turn right, you’ll see the Arts Walk just ahead).

Please note:

  • This is a 45-minute performance with staggered entrance times for only 5 patrons at a time.
  • Patrons are asked to arrive 15 minutes BEFORE their slotted entrance time to allow a timely experience for everyone.
  • For a safe experience, social distancing and masks will be required; we will have extra masks on hand and hand sanitizer.
  • Dress appropriately – part of the performance will take place in the gallery and part just outside the gallery. In the event of rain, the full event will take place indoors.
