Join us for a participatory celebration of Latinx culture – a community jam session or bombazo! Bring your musical instruments, or borrow one of ours. Play along, sing along, or just kick back and enjoy the food, friendship, and fiesta.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Come prepared to join the jam session! Bring your own instrument or borrow one of ours. Everyone is welcome – musically gifted or not – to play, sing, dance, and enjoy together. **See below for the rain plan** Anne Labovitz of the I Love You Institute invites audience members to participate in a collaborative community art project between 6:30-7pm; plan to arrive early to take part. 

FOOD & DRINK: Arrive hungry! Food and non-alcoholic beverages provided by the Puerto Rican Beneficial Societyavailable for CASH ONLY purchase.

BAR: Arrive thirsty too! The bar will be open with beer and wine for purchase via credit card or cash.

VENUE: Barrio Stage at Touchstone Theatre, 321 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 (This is our new outdoor venue located in our parking lot; see below for alternate parking options.)

RUN TIME: 3 hours (arrive when you can, stay as long as you like!)

PARKING: There is nearby street or lot parking (here’s a link to Bethlehem parking options).  Recommended options include: 1) Mechanic Street Parking Lot between Webster & Taylor Streets and Mechanic Street and the Greenway – 3 min walk; 2) Third & Taylor Street lot next to Southside 313 at 313 E. 3rd St. – 3 min. walk; or 3) the South New St. Garage (324 S. New Street), which is a 7 minute walk along the Greenway to the theatre.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION: Accessible restrooms are available inside Touchstone Theatre. Accessible seating is available; please contact Touchstone Theatre via phone at (610) 867-1689 or via email at touchstone@touchstone.org to reserve accessible seating in advance or inquire about accessible parking. Please note that seating is in the Touchstone parking lot which is accessed via a sloped driveway.

**COVID-19 SAFETY** This event is outside and participants/audience will be able to physically distance. We require unvaccinated guests to wear a mask (CDC mask guidance here). We welcome vaccinated guests to mask up, as they wish, and encourage masking when in close proximity to guests outside your group. We’ll have extras masks and plenty of hand sanitizer on hand, in case you need them.

What happens if it rains?!

VENUE: In the case of rain, this event will take place at the Charles A. Brown Ice House,  56 River St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.

PARKING: Free parking is available immediately adjacent to the Ice House, with additional metered parking in the Lehigh Street Lot across from the Wooden Match (61 W. Lehigh Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018).

Accessible restrooms are also available. Parking is available in designated handicap spots next to the venue. 

**COVID-19 SAFETY** The Ice House is on city property; per City of Bethlehem guidelines, masks must be worn – regardless of vaccination status – by anyone visiting a government building. All performers, ushers, box office staff, etc. will be masked. As an audience member, please bring your own mask to wear; if you need one, we’ll have plenty of extras on hand. Seating will provide some physical distance “by pod”; ushers will place chairs out for you and your group.
