Our home, America, is a mixture of different peoples and cultures, and this event is a rejoicing and honoring of that mixture. Join Anitha Baru, Firuzi Desai, and others in a joyous celebration through music and dance – including music from the Middle East, Puerto Rico and India coming together and blending with American Jazz music – and Garba – a traditional Indian folk dance that worships, honors and celebrates the power of the female in divinity. WHAT TO EXPECT

Grab your dancing shoes, join in, and dance! This isn’t just a performance – it’s a dance lesson too. Not ready to get up on your feet, but still interested? Come on by and watch! 

The first hour will be dance performances with some dance lessons for those who want to join in; the second hour will be live music and time for folks to sit back and listen or keep on dancing.

FOOD & DRINK: Arrive hungry! Bibi’s Tiffin will be onsite with delicious Indian street food for purchase with cash, card, or Venmo/Zelle.

VENUE: Rain Change – Due to rain, this event will take place at the Charles A. Brown Ice House,  56 River St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.

RUN TIME: 2 hours.

PARKING: Free parking is available immediately adjacent to the Ice House, with additional metered parking in the Lehigh Street Lot across from the Wooden Match (61 W. Lehigh Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018).
