This hands-on workshop employs craft-making, song creation, and theater to explore questions about feeling “at home”—in all ways.

RESERVEWhat does it mean to make a new home, for whatever reason you find yourself wanting and/or needing to do so? Are you a recent arrival to the area for work-related reasons? Did you have to leave your former home? Did something change with the people who made your former home, home? A hands-on workshop with author and professor Jan Cohen-Cruz where attendees will explore questions about remaking home through writing, visual art, and song creation.

WHAT TO EXPECT
All are welcome at this event, absolutely no artistic experience necessary! All we ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to get creative.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: The Library will not be open until 10am; there will be seating made available for you to wait outside if you arrive earlier than that, but we would encourage you to time your arrival closer to 9:45-:55am.
