Two clowns, a car in the garage, a chicken in the pot, and a child on the way – is it enough to make true love stick? In a madcap tragicomedy about romance and loss, inspired by the physical comedy of Buster Keaton and the absurdity of Looney Tunes, the captivating cast of two blend vocal sound effects, quirky humor, and an evocative 1930s soundtrack to reveal the mad, messy, sticky side of love.

There will be brief post-show TALKBACKS following each performance!

Also, Single Shoe Theatre Productions will be presenting a WORKSHOP on “Building Characters and Physical Storytelling” on Saturday October 8, 10am-1pm.

Cost is $30/workshop or only $25/workshop if you attend both the guest artists’ workshops – next one is “Exploring the Personal as Universal” by José Torres-Tama on Saturday November 5, 10am-1pm.

Then, help us foster that spark at the Gala, where monies raised support the Young Playwrights’ Lab in the following school year. Festivities are held at Zoellner Arts Center.

Join us before the show for a family friendly preshow party with snacks, basket raffle, and a chance to meet the playwrights!
